As common-use environments become more prevalent in today’s airports, the ability to properly control dynamic signage is imperative.  Meeting the information requirements of the airport, airlines and the traveling public can be extremely challenging.  Equally as difficult, is providing an interface that has the flexibility and the technical ability to enable multiple users to properly manage and display messages to the intended audiences.

AirIT has developed the DSI™ or Dynamic Signage Interface to provide users with a system to effectively control and display devices on the airport network.  When used in conjunction with AirIT’s FIDS system, the DSI™ enables users to control dynamic signage both inside and outside the airport’s flight information display architecture without compromising the integrity of the system.

DSI™ is a collection of applications which control the processes in FIDS over the intranet of the airport and allow the following features:
